The association.
The ADEeF (Association des distributeurs d’électricité en France, professional association of French grid operators) brings together all French grid operators operating in mainland France to defend their common interests. The ADEeF carries and defends the common positions of distribution network operators (DSOs) to public authorities, for instance during public consultations.
The ADEeF also aims to improve the consistency of its members’ practices through the development and promotion of common guidelines.
The electricity distribution network.
There are over 115 DSOs in France, in charge of operating the public service of electricty distribution throughout the country. They operate this mission within the framework of concession contracts and service agreements with local authorities, which own the distribution grid.
The ADEeF’s members.
The ADEeF brings together all DSOs serving over 100,000 customers, as well as the two professional federations representing all local distribution companies (entreprises locales de distribution, ELD)
