The ADEeF’s members
In the wake of the law of December 7, 2006 on the energy sector, grid operators serving more than 100,000 customers must be independent of other players in the electricity supply chain (producers, suppliers): there are six of them (including Enedis), and they are all members of ADEeF.
They are joined by two trade associations, ELE and Uneleg, which bring together all local grid operators in mainland France, regardless of size.
Founded in 2000, the ELE (Syndicat Professionnel des Entreprises Locales d’Energie) includes 60 ELD.
With 1.3 million km of grid, ENEDIS serves over 32,000 municipalities and 37 million customers, representing 95% of French metropolitan territory.
With more than 1,655 km of grid, Green Alp serves 13 municipalities in the Departments of Isère and Savoie.
With more than 12,000 km of grid, SRD serves 255 municipalities and 140,000 customers in the Department of Vienne.
